Sonic Performance Art Piece for a Couple (2017)
50min
Through a chain of technical-alchemistic bodily procedures, a couple modifies each other's appearance. Femininity and masculinity make place for a range of techno-fetishistic gender images. Intimacy, care and functional brutality come together in this psychogeography of human desires and anxieties between two individuals. Medical equipment, everyday objects and materials take on new roles, dictating pace and progress based on their programmed rhythms.

"This show is based on a dream I had in which my partner at the time turned into a wolf and I turned into a man. Christopher and I developed a string of post-romantic routines that we performed right among the audience in clausrophobic spaces. It came pretty close to what I had dreamt. "
